GlidePath Money

See your dashboard from your phone in five minutes

Open your GlidePath dashboard from your phone by signing in with your license email and a 6-digit code we email you. No app to install, no PIN to remember — just bookmark a URL.

Beginner 5 min read

Your GlidePath dashboard lives on your PC — that’s the local-first promise. But you don’t always want to be at your PC when you check your accounts. The phone-access bridge lets you open the dashboard from your phone, your tablet, or any browser, by signing in with your license email and a one-time 6-digit code we email you. No app to install, no account to create, no third party in the loop. This walks you through it end-to-end.

What you’ll learn

  • How to sign in to your dashboard from your phone
  • Why we email a one-time code instead of asking you to set a password
  • How to bookmark it so future access is one tap
  • What to do if the code doesn’t arrive or your session expires

Before you start

You need:

  • The desktop app installed and running on your PC (the bridge relays to your PC — if it’s asleep, the phone can’t reach it)
  • Your phone, tablet, or another computer with any modern browser
  • Access to the email inbox on your GlidePath license (that’s where the code goes)
  • About five minutes

You don’t need to install anything on your phone, create an account, or share any login with us.

Why a one-time code and not a password?

Two reasons. One: there’s no extra password for you to invent, remember, or have stolen — when you sign in, the bridge emails a fresh 6-digit code that’s good for that sign-in only. Two: it keeps us out of your secrets. We never store a reusable credential for you; each code is single-use, short-lived, and rate-limited (too many wrong guesses locks the attempt out for a while).

Step 1 — Go to the bridge on your phone (1 min)

On your phone, open any browser and go to:

https://bridge.glidepathmoney.com

You’ll see a sign-in form that asks for the email on your GlidePath license — the same email you used at checkout, the one your license key was issued to. Enter it and tap Send code. (The bridge looks up your private subdomain by that email, so it has to match exactly.)

Step 2 — Enter the 6-digit code we email you (1 min)

Check that email inbox. Within a few seconds you’ll get a message with a 6-digit code. Type it into the code field on the bridge and tap Sign in.

Within a second or two, your dashboard loads — the same one you see on your PC, just on a smaller screen.

Your session stays signed in for the day — about 24 hours, and it’ll re-prompt sooner if the session sits idle for 30 minutes. When it expires, just enter your email again and we’ll send a fresh code. (No code to memorize — it’s emailed every time.)

Important: your PC has to be running for this to work. The bridge is a relay; the actual dashboard rendering happens on your PC and is tunneled through to your phone. If you put your laptop to sleep, the phone session can’t reach it until you wake it.

Step 3 — Bookmark it on your phone (30 sec)

Bookmark bridge.glidepathmoney.com to your home screen so the dashboard is one tap away:

  • iOS Safari: tap the share icon → Add to Home Screen
  • Android Chrome: tap the three-dot menu → Add to Home screen

After bookmarking, GlidePath shows up as an icon among your apps. Tapping it skips the browser’s URL bar and feels native. (You’ll still sign in with a fresh code whenever your session has expired.)

Household members

If you’re set up as a member of someone’s household (the plan owner added you on the in-app Partners page with your own email), sign in with your email instead — you’ll get your own code and see your own filtered view (your accounts plus shared/joint ones). If you’re the plan owner, your email signs you in to the whole household picture.

What just happened

  1. You went to the bridge and entered your license email
  2. We emailed you a one-time 6-digit code; you entered it
  3. You bookmarked the bridge so future access is one tap

Common follow-ups

The code didn’t arrive

Check spam, and make sure you entered the exact email on your license (the one from checkout). For privacy, the bridge always says “if that email is on file, a code is on its way” — so a typo’d address simply never produces a code. Wait a few seconds and request another.

My session expired / it’s asking me to sign in again

That’s expected — sessions last about a day and re-prompt after 30 minutes idle. Enter your email again and we’ll send a new code. There’s nothing to reset.

I got a new phone

Just sign in fresh from the new phone with the same email. There’s nothing to “deregister” — each sign-in is its own short-lived session.

Someone else used my phone and saw my dashboard

This is genuinely the most common phone-security risk, and it’s not a GlidePath thing — it’s how phones work. Mitigations: enable your phone’s lock screen (Face ID / fingerprint), and use a per-app lock on the bookmarked GlidePath icon if your phone supports it. The emailed code protects sign-in; your phone’s lock protects the open session after sign-in.

My PC is off / asleep — can the phone still show me anything?

No. The local-first architecture is honest about this: when the PC is off, the dashboard isn’t being rendered, so there’s nothing for the phone to display. A future cloud tier (zero-knowledge encrypted, opt-in) is on the roadmap, but the current product keeps your data on your PC.

The bridge loads, but my phone says “your PC isn’t reachable”

This almost always means cloudflared isn’t running on your PC. Open Services (Win+R, type services.msc), look for Cloudflared, and confirm status is Running. If it’s not, right-click → Start. If it won’t start, restart your PC — the installer wires it to auto-start at logon.

Ask Glide about this

Try: “How does the phone-access bridge work?” Glide will walk through the architecture: you request a code by email, the bridge verifies it and issues a short-lived session, then proxies requests to your PC via the Cloudflare tunnel. Nothing leaves your machine in the clear.
